It's Saturday morning in the historic centre. The old town is just waking up, the cobbles are still cool, and the beach is a ten-minute stroll away. Inside, the double-glazed windows keep the street to a murmur while the light spills across the living room.

It is sold furnished, with self check-in already set up, so it can keep working from the day you take the keys.

The living space. At 68 m², it feels far bigger than the typical old-town one-bed. The open-plan living and dining room runs the length of the apartment, with tiled floors that stay cool underfoot in August and windows at one end that pull in the daylight. The kitchen runs along one wall: gas hob and oven, washing machine, full-height fridge and plenty of wood cabinetry, with the dining table for four right beside it.

The bedrooms. The main bedroom is a proper double with a built-in wardrobe, a ceiling fan and a window. Next to it, a bonus room without an exterior window is currently set up with a double bed, which is how the apartment comfortably sleeps four guests. It works just as well as a home office or dressing room if you plan to live here yourself. A full bathroom with a bathtub completes the layout.

The location. Everything Lagos is known for is on foot. Praça Gil Eanes and the old town restaurants are a couple of minutes away, the marina and the riverfront avenue are around ten minutes, and Praia da Batata and Praia dos Estudantes are an easy walk under the old town walls. Ponta da Piedade is a short drive, and Faro airport is about an hour by car, which matters to guests and to owners who split their year.
